美国西雅图 创业公司Jott本周推出了一个把语音变成短信 服务. 使用非常简单：用户拨打Jott提供 一个电话号码打, 留言, 并留下收信人 号码. Jott通过语音识别技术把语音留言转成文字, 并发短信给收信人. 收信人可以选择阅读文字短信或收听语音留言.
《西雅图PI》记者John Cook试用了这个服务. 试用结果 语音识别技术还不完美, 但还不错了. 他测试 语音留言 "Jott Networks is a new startup that converts your voice into text and delivers it via e-mail”, 转化成 短信 "Jott now works as a new startup that converts your voice and ___ delivers it via E-mail.”. （译者：错误 部分用红色标出）
Jott团队目前只有4个人, 包括两名前微软雇员. 目前接受 投资不到一百万美元. 投资来自Ackerley Parters公司, Draper Richards 和 Skype 创始人之一Miklas Zennstrom.
